The household residing at the time the homes exit the compliance period will have the option to purchase.  We anticipate residents will be able to purchase with equity in the home.

Yes, inquire about our in-house incentives.  There may also be external resources such as Individual Development Accounts that can be started with a participating provider.

  Credit Counseling can assist in several different ways such as: repairing credit score, understanding lender options, budgeting, etc.

  Community Service can help teach a resident the practice of “giving back” to the community- it is important to invest in the communities in which we live. When we own a home we don’t just have those four walls- we also gain a stake in the community in which our home resides.

Your property manager can help provide you with resources to programs and community agencies that can provide classes, training, and assistance in completing these requirements.

Twelve homes have been specifically built to meet the needs of a household with a member with an intellectual or developmental disability.  Affordability remains a key component and rental assistance is offered thanks to the AWS Foundation.
